These terms cover use of this website. The terms of any engagement live in the signed SOW, and where the two differ, the SOW governs.

Using this site

The content here is provided for information. It is written carefully and reviewed, but it is general guidance rather than advice about your specific situation.

Quotes

Nothing on this website is a quote or an offer. A quote is a fixed number issued in writing for a defined scope, after we understand what the work involves. Anything we describe here about how work is structured is context, not a price.

Engagement terms

Retainers run month to month after an initial 90 days. Notice is 30 days in writing, either direction, with no penalty. Ad spend is paid directly by the client to the platforms and is never marked up. Clients own the ad accounts, analytics, CRM data, content, raw footage and project files produced under the engagement. Work beyond an agreed scope is quoted at our hourly rate and approved by the client in writing before it happens.

Intellectual property

The design, copy and code of this website belong to Monte Vista Digital LLC. Work produced for a client under an SOW belongs to that client on the terms set out in the SOW.

Limitation

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
