Measurement & Automation

We find out on Tuesday morning, not at the monthly call

The expensive failures in paid media are almost never strategic. A card declines. A campaign quietly stops serving. An ad gets disapproved. A form breaks and keeps returning a thank-you page to nobody. Every one of those is cheap to fix and ruinous to discover four weeks later.

What account monitoring & alerting means here

Monte Vista scans every managed ad account automatically each morning and reports what is wrong the same day. The checks cover account status and billing or verification holds, enabled campaigns that served zero impressions, disapproved ads and keywords, and budget pacing more than ten percent off plan. A separate check confirms the client's website lead form is still producing submissions, which catches silent tracking and form breakages that would otherwise go unnoticed for weeks. Open issues are repeated every morning until they are resolved rather than reported once.

How we run it

The plays, in order

01

Every account, every morning, automatically

Not a human remembering to log in. A scheduled job reads every account through the API before the working day starts, so a problem that began overnight is on the list by breakfast rather than at the next monthly call.

02

The four failures that actually cost money

Account status, billing and verification holds. Enabled campaigns serving zero impressions. Disapproved ads. Disapproved keywords. These are unglamorous, they are the majority of real-world ad account damage, and almost nobody checks for them on a schedule.

03

Pacing measured against the plan, not the month

Spend is compared to where it should be given how much of the month has elapsed, and flagged past ten percent in either direction. Underspend is treated as a failure too, because an unspent budget is a month of demand you did not buy.

04

A dead lead form is an emergency, not a footnote

We alarm on the lead form itself: if submissions stop arriving for longer than a normal quiet weekend, that fires. This has caught real silent breakages, where the form still showed a thank-you page while nothing reached the inbox behind it.

05

Open issues stay on the list

A new issue is flagged as new, but everything still unresolved is repeated every single morning until it is fixed. Reporting a problem once and letting it scroll away is how a disapproved ad survives a month.

What you get
  • A daily automated scan of every account we manage for you
  • One morning alert listing every open issue, not just new ones
  • Billing, verification and account-status holds surfaced same day
  • Zero-delivery campaigns and suspended campaigns caught within a day
  • Disapproved ads and keywords flagged with the exact location
  • Budget pacing flagged when it drifts past ten percent either way
  • Lead-form health monitoring, so a silent form failure raises an alarm
  • A dated issue log you can read at any time, newest first

Common questions

Before you ask

Is this not just what an agency is supposed to do?

It is, and it is also the thing agencies most reliably fail at, because it depends on a person remembering to look at an account with nothing obviously wrong. We removed the person from that step. The checks run whether or not anyone opens the account that day.

Do I get the alert too, or just you?

Either. The default is that we get it and act on it, because an alert you cannot fix is just anxiety. If you would rather see the same morning summary we do, we will send it to you as well.

What happens when something is found?

We fix what we can fix and tell you about what needs you. Billing holds and verification problems usually need the account owner, so those come to you immediately with exactly what to click.

Does this work on accounts you do not manage?

Yes. Read access is enough for the monitoring, though we can only fix what we have permission to change. Several clients have us watching accounts another vendor runs.

How do you monitor whether a form is working?

We watch the destination rather than the form: the sheet, CRM or inbox the submissions are supposed to land in. If nothing has arrived for longer than a normal quiet period, that is an alarm. Watching the form itself would miss exactly the failure mode that matters, where the page looks fine and the data goes nowhere.
