Measurement & Automation

One report. Every channel. Three minutes.

Not one report per channel, which lets every channel grade its own homework. One report across all of them, which forces the comparison that actually informs a budget decision.

What reporting & dashboards means here

Monte Vista delivers a single monthly cross-channel marketing report per brand rather than one report per channel. It is a dated, self-contained file that needs no login and works forever, it states the methodology and error bar behind every estimated figure, and it is written to be read by a human in about three minutes.

How we run it

The plays, in order

01

One report, not six

Per-channel reporting lets each channel look good in isolation. A single cross-channel document forces the honest question: given a fixed budget, which line earned the next dollar?

02

Dated static files, not a dashboard subscription

Every report is a self-contained file in a dated folder. No login, no seat licence, no vendor that can sunset it. It is emailable, it works in five years, and it is a permanent record of what was true that month.

03

Methodology stated, error bars disclosed

When a platform will not expose a per-unit figure, we say the number is estimated and how it was derived. Disclosing one number's limits is what makes the rest of them credible.

04

Written for a human

Findings first, tables second, jargon never. If a stakeholder cannot get the story in three minutes, the report has failed regardless of how much data is in it.

What you get
  • One cross-channel report per brand, every month
  • A dated static file you keep, with no login required
  • Plain-language findings section at the top
  • Methodology and error bars stated on estimated figures
  • Month-over-month and year-over-year comparison
  • A short list of what we are changing next month, and why

Common questions

Before you ask

Why not a live dashboard?

Live dashboards drift, need logins, and die when a vendor changes its API or its pricing. A dated file is a permanent artefact of what was true that month, it is trivially emailable, and it costs nothing to keep forever. We will build a live dashboard when you genuinely need intra-day numbers.

Can you report on channels you do not manage?

Yes, and we often do. Read access is enough. Cross-channel comparison is only useful if it includes the channels someone else runs.

How long does it take to read?

That is the design constraint: about three minutes for the findings, with the full data underneath if you want it.
