Digital marketing agency · Phoenix, AZ
Marketing defined by precision.
Most agencies cannot prove what their work did, because nobody wired the measurement before the spending started. We do that part first. Then we run the channels it makes provable.
The whole argument, in one sentence
Most agencies cannot prove what their work did. We wire the measurement first, then run the channels it makes provable.
Everything below this line defends that sentence. If we ever propose something that does not, push back on it, and we will either explain the connection or drop it.
01 · Capabilities
Seventeen disciplines.
One team. Zero handoffs.
Buy one line or the whole stack. Every one is sold a la carte and scoped in writing, so you can start with the single thing that is actually the constraint.
Measurement & Automation
The plumbing most agencies cannot wire. Start here and every other channel becomes provable.
Marketing Audits
A free written teardown of your site, tracking, search and ads. Owner, effort and what it unblocks on every line.
Conversion Tracking & Attribution
GTM, GA4, click-ID capture into the CRM, offline conversions. The work that makes every other channel measurable.
AI & Marketing Automation
Lead-dispute agents, reporting builders, CRM workflows and custom internal tooling. Built with guardrails, not vibes.
Reporting & Dashboards
One cross-channel report per brand per month. Dated, readable in three minutes, no vendor login.
Account Monitoring & Alerting
Every account scanned every morning for holds, dead campaigns, disapprovals, pacing drift and dead lead forms.
Demand & Performance
Capture the people already looking, then widen the net without widening the waste.
Paid Search & Paid Social
Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, Yelp, Local Services Ads and Performance Max. Ad spend goes direct to your accounts.
SEO & Local SEO
Technical fixes, intent landing pages, Google Business Profile and a review velocity program that actually runs.
Answer Engine Optimization
Be the answer when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Overviews about your category.
Conversion Rate Optimization
Funnel teardowns, landing-page rebuilds and structured testing. Usually the cheapest growth lever you own.
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
Lifecycle flows, nurture and CRM automation across Klaviyo, HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Mailchimp.
Reputation & Review Velocity
Review acquisition, monitoring and response across Google, Yelp and the platforms your buyers actually read.
Brand, Content & Media
The owned library everything else runs on. Paid without an asset library just buys stock creative at a premium.
Website Design & Development
WordPress builds and rebuilds engineered for speed, search and conversion. No page-builder bloat.
Brand Strategy & Creative
Positioning, identity and an ad creative library versioned per channel, fed monthly and retired on performance.
Content Production
A capture protocol on the work you already do. One job yields ten to fifteen usable assets.
Organic Social Media
A fixed monthly post total across defined pillars, platform-native, with community management inside one business day.
Influencer, Creator & Referral
Sourcing, contracting, unique promo codes tied to booked jobs, and whitelisting the winners into paid.
Traditional & Out-of-Home
Radio, billboards, CTV and DOOH bought against tight geography, with a measurement design that holds up.
02 · Why us
Four claims we can actually defend
Not "passionate", not "data-driven", not "results-oriented". Four specific things, each of which you can test on us before you sign anything.
Attribution is the wedge
Most local agencies cannot wire click-ID capture, offline conversions or event mapping, so they report on form fills and call it revenue. We fix the plumbing first. It is cheap to deliver, immediately verifiable, and it makes every later channel measurable.
Automation is the moat
We build lead-dispute agents, reporting pipelines, daily account monitors and CRM workflows, and we run that stack inside our own agency before we sell it. Every client account here is scanned automatically each morning and the problems land in one alert. When we say an automation will not pay for itself, it is because we have already watched one fail to.
The honest number
We state the methodology and the error bar on every estimated figure. Disclosing the limits of one number is what makes the other nineteen believable, and it is remarkably rare in this category.
Published terms, not a pitch
What happens to your ad accounts, your analytics, your content and your raw footage if you leave is written on this website and written into the SOW. So is the notice period. The terms people usually discover at the end of a relationship are the ones we put at the start of it.
03 · The growth sequence
If the budget is limited, this is the order
Each step funds the next, and wherever the budget stops, the earlier steps still stand on their own. That is the test we hold our own recommendations to.
Measurement
Cheapest line in the plan and the one everything else is judged by. Wire it first or spend the rest of the year arguing about attribution.
Content and organic
The owned library. Paid without an asset library just buys stock creative at a premium.
Search and answer engines
Capture the intent that already exists, in both blue links and generated answers.
Paid search and social
The first paid dollars, tested at small size, against creative you already own.
Creators and referral
Rides on the content engine and the rights you have already cleared.
Brand and traditional
Last, because it needs volume and a holdout to prove anything, and both take time to build.
A 90-day plan that names which step you are on, what it costs, and exactly what you keep if you stop after it.
04 · How an engagement runs
Four steps. No surprises.
Audit
We start with a free written audit of what is live: site, tracking, search, ads. You get a real diagnosis with an owner and an effort on every line, and you own it whether or not you hire us.
Plan
A 90-day plan with channels, budgets, owners and the numbers we expect to move. You sign off before anything goes live, and the plan says plainly what stops if budget stops.
Build
Tracking gets wired before media gets bought. Then we ship: campaigns, content, code and creative, with a written change log so you always know what moved and when.
Compound
Test, retire what is not working, scale what is. One monthly cross-channel report, one biweekly call, one weekly written update. Marketing is a habit, not a project.
05 · How we work
The part that de-risks you
Capability slides are easy to write. The reason clients stay is the operating rhythm underneath them, so we publish ours as a commitment rather than describing it as a culture.
One named account lead
One person owns your account and answers every message within 48 hours. No rotating account managers, no ticket queue, no being reintroduced to your own strategy every quarter.
A daily automated check on every account
Before the working day starts, every account you have with us is scanned for billing holds, campaigns that stopped serving, disapproved ads and keywords, and budget pacing off plan. A separate check confirms your lead form is still producing leads. We find out the same morning, not at the monthly call.
A written update every week
One email: what launched, what is in progress, what needs a decision from you. It costs us fifteen minutes, it eliminates every status chase, and it leaves a dated record of the work.
A 30-minute strategy call, biweekly
Capped at thirty minutes, with the account lead and the strategist in the room. A meeting with a hard stop respects your calendar and forces an agenda.
One monthly report, all channels
Not one report per channel, which lets every channel grade its own homework. One document that forces the honest cross-channel comparison, readable in three minutes.
A live calendar you can open anytime
Status, approval state and publish date, visible without asking anyone. No black boxes is not a slogan here, it is a file you have the link to.
06 · The terms, up front
The clauses most agencies save for the exit
Who owns the ad accounts. How much notice it takes to leave. Whether your ad spend gets marked up. These are the questions that decide whether an agency relationship is survivable, and they are usually answered last. Ours are answered here.
Term
Retainers run month to month after an initial 90 days. Projects are fixed-scope with a defined end date.
Notice
30 days in writing, either direction, no penalty and no clawback.
Ad spend
Paid directly by you to the platforms, in your own accounts, on your own billing. Never included in our fee and never marked up.
Ownership
You own the ad accounts, the analytics, the CRM data, the content, the raw footage and the project files. Written into the SOW.
Overage
Quoted at our published hourly rate and approved by you in writing before the work happens. No surprise invoices, ever.
Onboarding fee
None.
Exclusivity
We will not take a direct competitor in your primary service area while we work together.
Ad spend is paid directly by you to the platforms, in your own accounts. It is never included in our fee and it is never marked up.
07 · Questions worth asking
Answers, not a discovery call
What does Monte Vista Digital do?
Monte Vista Digital is a full-service digital marketing agency in Phoenix, Arizona. We run measurement and attribution, SEO and AEO, paid search and paid social, web design and development, conversion optimisation, content and organic social, email and lifecycle, reputation management, creator marketing, and AI automation. We are unusual in leading with the measurement work rather than the channels, because the channels are only as honest as the data underneath them.
How does Monte Vista Digital charge for work?
Two shapes, both quoted in writing before anything starts. Projects are fixed-scope with a fixed fee and a defined end date. Ongoing work is a flat monthly retainer per workstream, month to month after the first 90 days. Paid media adds a percentage of spend that steps down as spend grows, so scaling your budget does not scale our fee at the same rate. Ad spend is always paid directly to the platforms from your own accounts and is never marked up. Tell us the scope and you get a number, not a range.
What is the smallest way to start working with you?
A free marketing audit. It is a written teardown of your site, tracking, search and ad accounts, with an owner and an effort on every finding. There is no retainer requirement and no obligation afterwards. Most of our retainers started as an audit, and some clients simply take the document and fix things in-house.
Do you require a long contract?
No. Retainers run month to month after an initial 90-day period, which exists because almost nothing in marketing can be fairly judged in thirty days. Notice is 30 days in writing. Projects are fixed-scope with a defined end.
Who owns the accounts, content and data if we leave?
You do, and it is in the SOW rather than left to a conversation later. We build inside your ad accounts, your analytics, your CRM and your hosting. Content, raw footage and project files are handed over. There is nothing to migrate because none of it was ever ours.
What is AEO and why does it matter now?
Answer Engine Optimization is structuring your content and markup so AI engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews cite you when a buyer asks a question in your category. Traditional SEO wins a ranked link; AEO wins the sentence the model says back. The technical foundations overlap heavily, the target does not, and the second one is currently far less contested.
Do you work with small businesses or only large ones?
Both. We work with local service businesses, growing DTC brands, B2B companies and in-house marketing teams. The common thread is not size, it is that the client treats marketing as an investment with a return rather than a cost to defend.
Will you take over the paid search we already run in-house?
Only if it needs taking over. If you run it well, keep it and we will feed it with better creative, better landing pages and better conversion data. Carving out what a client already does well costs us a line item and is usually the right answer.
How quickly would you notice if something broke in our account?
The same morning, in most cases. Every account we manage is scanned automatically each day before the working day starts, checking account and billing status, campaigns that have stopped serving, disapproved ads and keywords, and budget pacing against plan. A separate check watches whether your website lead form is still producing submissions, because a form that silently stops while still showing a thank-you page is one of the most expensive failures in marketing and one of the least often caught. Anything still open is repeated in the alert every morning until it is fixed.
How do you report on results?
One cross-channel report per month, delivered as a dated file that needs no login and works forever. Findings first, in plain language, readable in about three minutes. Where a figure is estimated because a platform will not expose it, we say so and explain how it was derived.
Where are you based and who do you serve?
We are based in Phoenix, Arizona, and we work with clients across the United States. Local SEO and out-of-home work is naturally geographic; everything else is not.
Still unanswered? Ask us directly — we answer every message within 48 hours.
