Demand & Performance
Rank for the searches that end in revenue
Four moves, run in order, on a schedule. Local search rewards operational consistency far more than it rewards clever tactics, and most agencies are not built to be consistent.
Monte Vista runs local SEO in four moves: a Google Business Profile optimisation blitz in the first two weeks, dedicated intent landing pages for the queries customers actually type, a review velocity program by SMS and email targeting 15 to 20 new reviews a month, and technical fixes to crawl, schema and mobile speed. Review count, recency and response rate are direct local ranking factors.
How we run it
The plays, in order
GBP optimisation blitz, first two weeks
Every field on every Google Business Profile: categories, attributes, services, service areas, hours, photos, products, Q&A. It is finite work with an outsized effect on the map pack, and it is the first thing we do.
Intent landing pages
A page for each query a customer actually types, not a page for each service you happen to offer. Written for the intent behind the search, with the answer above the fold and the proof below it.
Review velocity as a workflow, not a hope
Post-service review requests by SMS and email, targeting 15 to 20 new reviews a month, with a response workflow attached. Count, recency and response rate are all direct ranking inputs. Five stars are not luck, they are a system.
Technical fixes on the pages that matter
Crawl and index hygiene, schema, internal linking, canonical and redirect integrity, mobile Core Web Vitals. We fix the templates that affect hundreds of pages before the one-off issues that affect one.
City pages that are not duplicates
Location pages built from genuinely local content survive. Location pages built from find-and-replace get filtered, and they drag the templates around them down with them.

Common questions
Before you ask
How long does SEO take to work?
Local and technical fixes can move the map pack within weeks. Competitive organic rankings usually take three to six months of consistent work. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is selling you something else.
What is the fastest local SEO win?
Google Business Profile completeness and review velocity, almost always. Both are finite work, both are direct ranking inputs, and both can start in week one without touching the website.
Do you write the content too?
Yes. Intent landing pages, service pages and location pages are part of the retainer. Longer-form editorial is a content engagement, and we will say which one you actually need.
How many reviews do we need?
The target is 15 to 20 new reviews a month sustained, because recency matters as much as total count. A single burst of fifty reviews looks exactly like what it is.
