Demand & Performance

Five stars are a workflow, not luck

Review count, recency and response rate are direct local ranking inputs and the single loudest trust signal a buyer sees before they call you. Both facts reward the same operational habit.

What reputation & review velocity means here

Reputation management combines systematic review acquisition, monitoring and response across Google, Yelp and industry platforms. Because review count, recency and response rate are direct local search ranking factors as well as the primary trust signal buyers evaluate, a sustained program of 15 to 20 new reviews a month outperforms occasional bursts.

How we run it

The plays, in order

01

Ask at the right moment, automatically

A review request triggered by a completed job, sent by SMS and email, with the link pre-selected for the platform that matters most. Asking manually means asking inconsistently.

02

Sustained velocity beats a burst

Fifty reviews in one week looks exactly like fifty reviews bought in one week. Fifteen to twenty a month, sustained, reads as an operating business and keeps recency working for you.

03

Respond to all of them, including the good ones

Response rate is a ranking input and a public demonstration of how you handle a complaint. Every review gets a reply, and negatives get one written by someone who has read the file.

04

Route the unhappy customer before the platform does

A service recovery path in the follow-up flow catches fixable problems before they become a permanent one-star. This is service design, not review gating, and the difference matters legally and ethically.

05

Dispute what is genuinely fake

Off-platform, competitor and clearly fraudulent reviews get filed properly and tracked. Success rates are modest and we will say so rather than promise removals.

Common questions

Before you ask

Can you remove a bad review?

Only if it genuinely violates platform policy, and success rates are modest. Anyone promising removal of legitimate negative reviews is describing something the platforms do not allow.

How many reviews should we be getting?

Fifteen to twenty new reviews a month is the target for most local businesses. Recency carries real weight, so sustained flow matters more than lifetime total.

Is it ok to ask customers for reviews?

Yes. What is not allowed is gating, meaning only asking happy customers or filtering by rating before the request. We build the ask so everyone gets it, with a service recovery path alongside it.
