A free audit that tells you what is actually broken

It costs nothing. Every finding carries an owner, an effort estimate, and the one column most audits leave out: what fixing it unblocks. No retainer required, nothing to sign, and no obligation after.

What marketing audits means here

A Monte Vista marketing audit is a free written review of a brand's website, SEO, AEO readiness, page speed, security, analytics tracking and ad accounts. Every finding lists an owner, an effort estimate and what it unblocks, so the client can prioritise the work, hand it to any vendor, or do it in-house. It covers one website, one analytics property and up to two ad accounts, is delivered in five to ten business days, and carries no obligation.

How we run it

The plays, in order

01

We look at what is live, not what is documented

Every claim in the audit is checked against the running site and the live accounts. Tags are verified against real network traffic, not against a screenshot of the tag manager. If something is meant to fire and does not, we say so and show the request.

02

Findings get an owner and an effort

Four columns on every row: the item, who does it, how long it takes, and what it unblocks. That last column is the one almost nobody includes, and it is the one that turns prioritisation from an argument into arithmetic.

03

We disclose the limits of our own numbers

Where a platform will not expose a figure, we say the number is estimated and explain how. Admitting one error bar is what makes every other number in the document believable.

04

You can hand it to anyone

The audit is yours. Fix it in-house, hand it to your current agency, or hire us. We would rather be the shop that told you the truth for free than the shop that sold you a retainer to find out.

What you get

  • Tracking verification against live network traffic
  • Ad account structure, waste and negative-keyword review
  • A ranked fix list with owner, effort and what it unblocks

Common questions

Before you ask

The audit is genuinely free? What is the catch?

There is no catch and there is no obligation, but there is a reason. The audit is the most effective sales asset we have, because a written document that names real problems in your own accounts argues for us better than any pitch deck. Enough people read one and hire us that giving it away is worth more to us than charging for it. If you read it, fix everything yourself and never speak to us again, that is a fair outcome and it has happened.

What is included, and where does free stop?

A free audit covers one website, one analytics property and up to two ad accounts, which fits the large majority of businesses that ask. A multi-property brand with six ad accounts and three sites is real work rather than a sales asset, so that is scoped and quoted like any other project. We tell you which of the two you are before we start, not after.

Is a free audit just a sales pitch in disguise?

It is a sales asset, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What stops it from being a pitch is the format: every finding has an owner and an effort estimate, including the ones you can fix yourself in an afternoon, and we do not remove a finding because it is not something we sell. An audit that only ever concludes hire us would stop working very quickly.

How long does the audit take?

Five to ten business days from kickoff, depending on how many properties and accounts are in scope. We give you the delivery date at the start and we hold it.

Do I have to hire you afterwards?

No. There is no retainer requirement and no obligation. The audit is a standalone product. Plenty of clients take the document, fix things in-house, and come back a year later.

What access do you need?

Read access to Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and any ad accounts, plus a read-only login to the site or CMS. If some of that does not exist yet, that is itself a finding.
